Stationery Studio Production Assistant

Laurel & Marie is a small, women-owned stationery design & calligraphy studio located in Tulsa, OK. We’re looking for a highly-motivated, organized and detail-loving individual to join our team as a stationery production assistant. The ideal candidate is friendly, organized, and detail-oriented and can maintain a high standard of work within a tight timeline. This is a contract position, as hours may vary from 5-15 per week depending on the wedding high and low seasons. This job is at our midtown Tulsa studio, located inside of Retro Den. 

Daily tasks include:

  • Measuring, cutting, gluing, scoring, and hand-assembling invitations, envelope liners, and place cards

  • Working with paper cutters and x-acto blades

  • Using digital and laser printers to print envelopes and stationery

  • Ordering materials and supplies

  • Receiving packages; reviewing and counting products for quality control

  • Packaging client stationery orders and online shop orders

  • Proofreading calligraphed envelopes, place cards, and signage for accuracy

  • Running in-town errands (supplies/materials, post office, printer, bank)

  • Assisting with monthly calligraphy workshops (set-up/clean-up) 

  • Occasional fulfilling of online/in-store shop orders 

  • Some email/spreadsheet work 

  • Light studio-organizing and shop-cleaning duties 

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • An eye for detail, color, neatness, and design

  • Excellent proofreading skills 

  • Ability to use a tape gun, paper cutter, etc.

  • Basic knowledge of computer software and laser/inkjet printers 

  • Ability to take direction and follow detailed standards

  • Strong communication and organizational skills 

  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Google Apps (Gmail and Google Drive, primarily) and proper email etiquette

  • Reliable transportation (must be able to travel to our midtown-Tulsa studio and run errands in the metro Tulsa area)


  • Photography skills and/or photo styling experience

  • Basic experience with Adobe Creative Suite products

  • Strong writing skills (social media captions, blog posts, newsletters)

  • Social media management expertise

  • Online storefront (Squarespace/Etsy) expertise


  • Part time/contract (hours vary depending on wedding high and low season)

  • Flexible start and stop times
